Employee Spotlight: Kelton’s Engineers Without Borders Trip to Bolivia!

We’re proud to spotlight I&L’s own Kelton, who recently traveled to Bolivia with Engineers Without Borders (EWB) to support communities working toward more reliable access to clean water.
During the trip, Kelton and the EWB team began working with the community of Khasu, where they surveyed local households and gathered data to better understand challenges with the community’s existing water distribution system. The team will use this information to evaluate potential solutions and plan future improvements.

The team also returned to Komucala, where EWB has been working for several years. There, they documented the community’s newly constructed water distribution system and celebrated the opening of a new water storage tank — an exciting milestone made possible through collaboration between EWB and the local community.

For Kelton, one of the biggest highlights was getting to know the people behind the project.

We’re proud to have team members like Kelton who use their engineering skills to make an impact beyond our own communities. Great work, Kelton! 👏

We fired up the grill for one last team lunch and celebrated our awesome interns with hibachi! Nothing brings a team together quite like a little friendly competition!
On Friday, the I&L team stepped away from the office and headed to Paddle Up for an afternoon of pickleball, laughs, and team bonding. It was a great opportunity to connect outside of work, cheer each other on, and enjoy some healthy competition.

Congratulations to our tournament champions, Marie and Mark, for taking home the gold!

We're grateful for opportunities like these that strengthen our team and remind us that the best partnerships are built both in and out of the office.

Our team and interns enjoyed attending the Young Professionals & Intern Social last night at Blueberry Hill! It was a great opportunity to meet other young professionals, expand our network, and connect with peers from across the engineering industry.
