Brownfield redevelopment brings new life to underused properties, and it takes perspectives from across environmental science, economic development, planning, engineering, real estate, government, and other disciplines. On October 22–23, 2026, professionals working across these areas will come together at Brownfields and Beyond: 2026 Minnesota Redevelopment Conference (tag) at Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, Minnesota.

Braun Intertec’s Jennifer Force and Ted Hubbes are part of this year’s program.

Jennifer Force presents Breaking Ground: Moving Brownfields Projects Forward in Resource-Limited Communities on October 22 at 10:30 a.m. Her session focuses on ways to keep projects moving when resources are limited.

Ted Hubbes joins Winning at Brownfields: Perspectives from Past ReScape Award Winners as a featured panelist on October 23 at 10:30 a.m. Hear what made award-winning projects successful.

Attending the conference? Join Jennifer and Ted for their sessions and connect with Braun Intertec while you are there.

On this National Archaeology Day we are celebrating how archaeology helps us uncover stories from the past and better understand the places that have shaped where we are today.

At Braun Intertec, archaeology and cultural resources expertise also plays an important role in supporting projects and helping clients navigate cultural resource considerations. Our archaeologists help you identify cultural resources early, so your project can move forward with fewer surprises.

Watch archaeology group manager Tom Lewis share why archaeology matters and how it connects the past with the work happening today.

Our team had a great experience attending the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG) Annual Conference in Duluth last week. With nine Braun Intertec employees in attendance, the event gave us the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, share expertise, and learn about important topics affecting geology and construction.

We were especially proud to see Chuck Hubbard present on Navigating Risks in Uncharted Territory and Jamison Langdon present on Reducing the Carbon Footprint in the Construction Industry. We also appreciate the ongoing involvement of our Certified Professional Geologists, Mike Bratrud, Jennifer Wolff, and Chuck Hubbard, who help advance the profession through their leadership and participation in AIPG.

Some of our best career stories start with a co-op experience, and these employee-owners are proof of that.

What began as an opportunity to gain hands-on experience became the start of rewarding careers at Braun Intertec. Along the way, they built confidence, developed professional skills, learned from challenges, and found mentors who encouraged their growth.

We love seeing students grow into employee-owners who help shape the future of our company.
