KNUCKLE BOOM CRANE | INSPECTION & LOAD TESTING

Our responsibility begins before the load is applied.
Our Inspection & Testing Team was recently deployed to conduct functional checks, thorough examination and load testing of a newly installed PALFINGER knuckle boom crane, in accordance with applicable Ministry of Manpower (MOM) requirements.

We do more than simply conduct a load test.
Before proceeding, our team examines the accessible structural components, mounting arrangements, lifting mechanisms and associated rigging to identify potential defects or conditions that may compromise safety.

Following satisfactory preliminary checks, the crane was subjected to a controlled load test using calibrated load measurement equipment.
Upon achieving the specified test load, a holding interval was observed, followed by the necessary checks and observations before concluding the testing sequence.

When I started PropNex, my goal was to build a company where salespersons could grow their careers and clients could receive advice they trust. That remains my focus today.

I spoke with The Business Times about where we see room to grow next, from industrial property to capital markets and leasing. We have started building our expertise in these areas, and I believe there is more we can do if we train the right people and stay disciplined.

I was also asked about technology and the future of the salesperson’s role. Buyers and sellers have more information at their fingertips, but information alone does not replace good advice. We must keep learning, use the tools available to us and uphold the professional standards our clients expect. If we do not provide value, we will become less relevant.

We have grown to more than 14,600 salespersons, but headcount is ultimately a means to an end. What matters is how well we serve our clients and the trust we earn every day.
