At TotalEnergies New Zealand, we believe great energy starts with great people. So we're pulling back the curtain and sharing the stories, passions and perspectives of the people who make TENZ what it is.

And we couldn't think of a better person to kick things off than Tony. 🔧

26 years. That's how long Tony has been the go-to guy for all things technical at TotalEnergies New Zealand and he wouldn't have it any other way.

His path into the industry? Pure chance. Coming from an automotive background, Tony filled in for a couple of days between jobs… and never left. 26 years later, we think it's safe to say it was meant to be. 😄

Ask Tony what a typical day looks like and he'll laugh because there is no typical day. One moment he's selecting oils for the latest OEM vehicles, the next he's fielding a call about a 1940s Ford Army truck, then onto load ratings for dairy platform bearings with a rotary full of cows. Yep, all in a day's work!

What he loves most? The variety, the people, and the chance to share 26 years of knowledge with anyone who needs it. Tony works across nearly every department, from logistics to finance to operations, proving that technical expertise reaches a lot further than most people realise.

Outside of work, you'll find him in the garage swinging spanners on old cars and motorbikes. Anything old and rusty, he's interested. There's always a project on the go (usually five at once). 🔩🏍️

And here's the part that might surprise you, Tony describes himself as a huge introvert. You'd never guess it from someone who talks to people across every industry, every single day.

Tony, thank you for 26 years of showing up, sharing your knowledge, and being a cornerstone of the TENZ whānau. 🙌
