Today is World Environment Day and the JPP Group are proud to support our clients and partners to attain sustainable engineering solutions.
As designers we understand how we can contribute towards carbon reduction in the
early stages of a project. We look at how we can reduce carbon in the materials we
specify, the quantum of the materials as well as buildability. We work within the sphere
of BREEAM on many projects where we can be measured on our performance in overall
project suitability for the project lifecycle.
Our ‘Carbon Champions’ Katherine Rose and Libby Rogers regularly assess ways we can reduce our carbon dependence, they review national and local government policies and look for new initiatives and ideas to encourage and educate staff.

🟢 we reduce waste by working digitally as much as possible
🟢 we reduce energy consumption by switching off devices at the end of each day
🟢 we reduce travel between offices by using high quality inter-office conference calls
🟢 we look for the most energy efficient solutions without compromising capability
🟢 we publish travel plans to encourage model shift
