Well that's all three 4" scale Driving Wagons now sold. I'm off to Germany golfing for a week but hoping to get these despatched as soon as I'm back.

Priorities for September will be completing the stock take on the 4" Showmans Kit 31,32,33 and 35 that customers have outstanding, and getting the short fall of parts ordered on these. This will be a tremendous relief to the Showmans customers, i'm sure, and get 8 people another step towards completion and actually complete deliveries for 3 of those. From there it'll be finalising a plan to help the last five get their final items (boilers mainly!)

Once all that's done, I'll be announcing how many 4" Traction Trailers I have, which like the Driving Wagon will be sold on a first come first served basis.

Very productive & happy day. After over a month arguing with the Utility company that the electric bill was not mine, it was a debt of the previous directors and company….we got power!!! Yaaaaaaay

This meant that the lights could be on, I could see what I was packing and most importantly the radio could be playing!!

Kit 21’s of the DCC Road Loco’s boxed and just waiting delivery of the final 8 parts….this will make 6 Road Locos customers very happy as it’ll complete their engines and take another 4 a step closer!

It looks like by ordering a few of the wooden parts we will have just a small batch of only three 4" Agricultural Trailers available (labelled Driving Wagons in the photo). There is the possibility i could do more if more people would like one but the first three will be sold on a 'first come first served basis'.

Alternatively if you would just like to purchase the Wheels, Springs etc and are then happy to do the wood yourself then this is also an option. If this is of interest, then please comment on here and send a message or email [email protected].

If the 4" scale 'Traction Trailer' in the photo is your preference then i will be stock taking that next week.

While things are being added to the website, I realise navigating what is 'in stock' and what is 'out of stock' is time consuming and a bit of a ball ache....so I have added a search bar enabling you to search items that are 'on sale' 'in stock' or 'on back order'...simply go to the engine you are interested in, tick the box and press the filter button. Hopefully this will help speed things up for everyone while I'm busy doing stock takes to be able to add products and quantities. Thanks as always for your patience.

Another productive few days. Orders placed for the Kit 21 Road Loco parts and 2" Burrell levers that most had missing. These will complete a number of engines. Emails sent to Showmans people letting them know what I'm working on.....hope to get round to updating the SCC customers during the course of this week.

Lots more parts listed on the website. Including one piece steel 4 1/2" Foden cranks (not welded), a number of DCC Road Loco and Showmans parts plus lots of gaskets. Will be listing a couple of 2" Burrell Boilers and a couple of Lykamobile boilers tomorrow.

Anything that now says 'in stock' you can now order. If it says 'out of stock' and you need it, drop me an email for pricing and latest stock info.

Slowly getting there with clearing the factory…top photo’s are before, bottom photo’s are after. Still got the offices, mezzanine, toilets & rear part of factory to sort, plus tidy outside and also get rid of 4000 litres of oil that’s been left….once all that’s sorted can look at cleaning and painting the floor, carpeting the offices etc…every day is step in the right direction.

Products are slowly going 'live' on the STWspares website with a number of orders already received. If you have sent an enquiry I'm on with it so please don't worry.
I've just listed a Foden 41/2" cylinder block (F41601). Only 2 of these are available and no further ones will ever be produced so if you need one or need a spare off the shelf, get one quick.
Later today I will be listing 2 x 6" Burrell front wheels, a 6" Burrell smokebox, ring and and door, a 6" perch bracket and 6" front fork (shown in the photo next to a 4" scale version for size comparison!).

I am also intending later today to email all the 2” customers who are parts short and the 4” Showman’s customers who need parts with an update!

Would be great for a few more likes on the STWspares FB page from any of the 9000+ members on here please. :-)

After a few days down while we uploaded and listed many of the products the website www.stwspares.co.uk is now back up and running.

Please note: Although almost 4000 items are listed, I have marked the majority of items as 'out of stock' while i am busy doing stock takes and confirming pricing. As i confirm quantities and selling price i will then change to 'in stock'. Should there be anything you require please email to let me know and I'll check stock and get it priced and listed as a priority, enabling you to order directly.

Over the next few months I hope to have everything on the website.

It is my intention to list 'old stock', make available 'instructions and isometrics', produce some wagons and have ongoing spares for your engines, however it will take time as my main focus currently is trying to complete engines and clear the factory.
