In 1982, our history reached another key milestone with the founding of H.S. Penta.
The company was established by five partners in a 250 sqm workshop in Castelbolognese. Its name was chosen to reflect the number of its founders, while the initials H.S. stood for Hydro Service.

In the years that followed, Penta moved to Faenza, where it gradually grew into a leading company in the world of hydraulic cylinders. Today, that legacy lives on through the Interpump Hydraulics brand.

Curiosity: in the very same year, Time magazine named the personal computer as “Man of the Year.”
