From trainee to permanent Trade Assistant — meet young Jeffery Jnr Vagi!
Jeffery was drawn to Sun Engineering by the structures we manufacture and the way our team works together. Since joining as a trainee, he has gained hands-on experience using a band saw, setting up a MIG welding machine and learning from those around him.
Reflecting on the support he received, he says, “The team was so supportive to me.”
That encouragement helped him build his skills and take the next step into a permanent role. For Jeffery, the offer brought excitement, gratitude and “tears of joy”.
Today, he enjoys creating something new and learning every day, and he’s looking forward to developing his manufacturing skills further.
His advice to anyone considering a traineeship is simple: “Never give up on your work,” he says, and learn as much as you can from every task.
Congratulations, Jeffery! We’re proud to have you on the Sun Engineering team and look forward to seeing you continue to grow.
