Alright I’ve been pretty ordinary at getting back to emails and keeping on top of phone calls for the past 2 months and here’s the reason why. A fair few of you that have been into the shop over the past 5 years have seen my wrx tucked away, missing panels, no motor, sitting half in primmer. 10 weeks ago my partner and myself decided to start planning our wedding, she always wanted the car to be there for sentimental reasons.
This car was in a strict timeline to be able to at least drive on and off the trailer and look the part. With an LS1 sitting in the shed I thought that’s going in, custom made a subframe to fit the motor, lower the rack, extend the steering arm and notch the sump. Then a phone call to the guys down at 1320 Motorsports to sort full haltech setup, haltech dash, fuel system, injectors, psr inlet manifold, g42/1450, wastegate, flex plate, converter and the list goes on.
Once parts started rolling in, it was onto turbo manifolds, cooler pipes and everything else in between. I have to give a huge shout out to some great mates for turning up and getting stuck in to make the deadline Chappy Evolution Tuning , mick from Elite Mechanical & 4 X 4 , Les from hobo’s garage for the amazing body work, candy paint job and swinging spanners to get it all to come together.
We made the deadline got married yesterday and i cant thank my mates enough 🤙🏻
