Cold mornings are on the way… make sure your battery is ready!

Here are a few tips that could save you hassles later:
• Charge up – Charge your battery with a multistage charger before the cold sets in.
• Park smart – Lock and park your vehicle in a garage or sheltered area to protect the battery from extreme cold.
• Start simple – Turn off accessories before starting the engine.

As temperatures drop, autumn is the ideal time to prepare Marine and Leisure batteries for periods of low use. Proper storage and maintenance now can help prevent issues later.

Here’s what to do when storing your battery:

🔋 Fully charge the battery before storage
🌡️ Store the battery in a cool, dry place
🔌 Recharge if voltage drops below 12.5V
🪫 Recharge if the S.O.C. indicator shows black
🧼 Keep terminals clean and free from corrosion

If in doubt, have your battery checked by your nearest Delkor® retailer.

Wow, what a ripper weekend! How about that race win?!

After a great catch up at our Launceston branch, André Heimgartner and the team at Brad Jones Racing put on display an absolutely amazing performance at the Tasmania Super 440 at Symmons Plains Raceway.

Starting from a hard fought pole position in qualifying, Andre maintained his lead and secured a fantastic first place finish for the #8 Supra during Race 15! It was the clear highlight of the weekend, and we’re very excited that Andre and team got a taste of the champagne.

Let's keep the momentum rolling into the Darwin Triple Crown up next 💪🔥
