PROCESSING SPECIALIST - INJECTION MOULDING / IML / ROBOTS (JOBURG)

National manufacturer in the packaging industry is looking for a Processing Specialist with advanced plastic injection moulding experience (packaging industry) for their production site near Wadeville.

Requirements:
→ Mechanically qualified Artisan / Engineer
→ Advanced plastic processing experience in injection moulding (packaging industry)
→ In-Mould Labelling (IML) and robots experience
→ Maintenance management experience
→ Experience in polymer technology, including extruders and injection moulds
→ Injection moulding setting experience
→ Sound knowledge of ISO procedures
→ Problem solver, strong communicator, self-motivated

Responsibilities:
→ Continuously improve mould efficiencies by reducing setup and cycle times
→ Process and optimise material handling and processing techniques
→ Ensure injection moulding machinery and moulds are effectively maintained
→ Conduct mould and material trials
→ Ensure production of high quality products
→ Support Research and Development initiatives
→ Training and development of Setters

DIGITAL PRINTER OPERATOR - MANUFACTURING (JOBURG)

National packaging manufacturer requires an experienced Digital Printer Operator for their factory near Wadeville to:
- Operate, maintain, clean, troubleshoot the digital printer
- Process, adjust, check customer artwork and files
- Monitor print quality throughout the production process
- Manage colour, ink and other printing requirements

Required:
- N4 Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience operating digital printing equipment
- Computer literate, including image editing and design software
- Experience in manufacturing / production / packaging
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude

PROCESS TECHNICIANS - INJECTION MOULDING (JOBURG)

Major packaging manufacturer requires Process Technicians with strong experience in plastic injection moulding gained in the Packaging industry, for their Germiston site.
Successful candidates will be required to set up, optimise, maintain and troubleshoot injection moulding machines and processes.

Required:
→ Trade tested Millwright / Electrician OR BTech / BEng Tech (Mechanical / Electrical)
→ Strong experience in plastic injection moulding (Packaging industry)
→ Proven experience in injection moulding set up, optimisation and troubleshooting
→ Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
→ Familiar with food safety, GMP and HACCP requirements
→ South African citizen

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN - BLOW MOULDING (JOBURG)

Leading plastics company requires a Qualified Artisan / Technician with strong experience in the plastic packaging industry (HDPE & PET) and excellent knowledge of the entire blow moulding process, for a field service role.
The successful candidate will travel throughout Gauteng, as well as to neighbouring countries, to provide customer technical support.

Requirements
✓ Trade Test (mech / elec) OR N6 Engineering (mech / elec)
✓ Minimum 3-5 years experience in plastic packaging industry (HDPE & PET)
✓ Knowledge of entire blow moulding process - material feeding, blow mould machines, downstream equipment, recycling, chillers, compressors etc.
✓ Valid driver's license, and experience driving with a trailer
✓ Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
✓ Solid admin skills for record keeping and stock control
✓ Supervisory experience advantageous
