– What We Do On Site - LDAR and VRU monitoring: the emissions you can't see. Not every emission leaves through a stack. At refineries, terminals and fuel depots, some of the biggest losses are invisible — VOCs escaping from valve packing, flanges and pump seals, or vapours displaced while a road tanker is being loaded. LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) is the structured programme that finds and fixes those fugitive leaks. Components are tagged and screened, either with a portable analyser to US EPA Method 21 or with an optical gas imaging camera. Anything above the leak threshold is repaired within a set timeframe and re-screened to confirm the fix. Measure, repair, verify — all documented and auditable.
