Weekend thoughts: On 12 November, 2020 the United States department of Labour published a paper advising the Assistant Secretary for Mine Safety and Health to tighten the regulation on dust present in and around coal mines. The impact of dust (and more specifically crystalline silica) on an individual’s health and the general environment is well documented but largely ignored. At Dust-Act we want to help our industry:
1. protect their front line workers and increase their productivity
