This palletizing robot is a clear example of practical, high-impact automation in manufacturing.

It combines conveyors, sensing and robotic handling to streamline what is traditionally a labor-intensive process.

Individual bags of fertilizer enter on an infeed conveyor, are automatically reoriented for consistent handling, and move to a robotic pick-up station where sensors confirm placement. The robot then uses a custom end-of-arm tool to pick each bag and precisely place it onto a pallet.

This continuous process allows for a full pallet to be built in 3 minutes.
