Meet Jessica Castleman, Billing Specialist đź‘‹
Jessica’s career has taken her through a mix of industries, with each role adding something new along the way. Right out of high school, she began working as an office manager for a steam cleaning company, where she spent nearly 15 years handling interviews, scheduling and employee relations. She later expanded her experience in the dental and medical field as a manager before eventually joining the State of Maryland working in stormwater remediation and office management. When she saw an opening at Kinsley Materials, she knew it was the right time for a new challenge and applied.
She initially joined our dispatch team, helping handle concrete calls, but quickly transitioned into billing when an internal opportunity opened up. Today, Jessica works as a billing specialist, where her day includes reviewing tickets, creating invoices and handling billing for materials sales. The transition came with a learning curve, but she embraced it as a chance to better understand how all the pieces of the business connect.
What’s made the biggest impact on her at Kinsley Materials is the people. She credits her team for helping her learn the ins and outs of the role and describes the environment as supportive and always willing to help.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys reading (especially murder mysteries and biographies), traveling and spending time with her many nieces and nephews.
