Land Rover enthusiasts across North America hear Les Parker’s rummy British greetings when they call Rovers North. His product knowledge, born out of his service with the British Army, was legendary.

It’s with great sadness that we announce his passing on January 30, 2026.

Les made every enthusiast feel like a friend, and his attendance at Land Rover events confirmed his genuine delight at sharing his knowledge, expertise and vibrant personality. We will all miss him greatly.

It's times like these that we're relieved to have the largest supply of classic Land Rover parts in the country. Hopefully, this will be resolved soon!

As many of you know, Dave Sweetapple passed away suddenly on August 8, 2024, at the young age of 58, leaving an unimaginable void in the hearts of all who knew him. Dave’s infectious laughter, sharp wit, and endless generosity were his trademarks - traits that made him unforgettable. Behind all of this, Dave’s greatest love was his wife, Robin. For thirty-two years, they were inseparable -soulmates in the truest sense. Their bond was one of those rare and beautiful connections that we all aspire to find. Now, Robin is left facing an overwhelming and heartbreaking reality without Dave by her side. As if the emotional pain weren’t enough, she now faces mounting financial burdens with no one to lean on.
