Three empty trailers... what do you think we'll bring back?

Gotta love a CTS engine bay. Clean & simple, yet everything is accessible for maintenance. The "Date Night" truck is just about ready for some action!

This weekend we repurposed one of our old cabs for The CTS Junkyard Cats!

Phase #1 of the Carolina Truck Shop Cat Cab Project is finished! What do you do when you have extra Chevy C10 cabs at your shop? Turn one into a winter shelter for our junkyard cats. We stripped the cab of hoses, wiring, and the gas tank and stuffed it with straw. The transmission tunnel gives the cats easy access to the cab.

Phase #2 includes adding a hood for a roof, creating some fake patina on the cab, staining the deck area, and pinstriping the cab.

For those that don't know, we have a small feral cat community in our parts yard that we feed and care for. In return, they keep unwanted critters out of our building. If you love cats, follow the adventures of the CTS Junkyard Cats!

Follow the adventures of the CTS Junkyard Cats in upstate South Carolina. We proudly care for the feral cats that call our junkyard home. You might even catch a glimpse of one of our cool restorations at CTS (Carolina Truck Shop) in the background.
