🔧 Cast Aluminum Oil Pan Repair

When a piece breaks off, it doesn’t always mean you need a whole new part!

This cast aluminum oil pan had a broken-off mounting fl**ge. We welded the broken piece back on to restore the fl**ge and get the part back in one piece.

Have a broken aluminum part that needs some attention? Give us a call!

This one is definitely a custom job! 🔥

We’re up in St. Paul working on a unique railing project where the railing is being formed on-site to follow the existing concrete staircase.

With four different sections—and each one curving and changing direction differently—there’s no simple “cut it, weld it, and install it” approach here. We’re fitting and shaping each section to follow the curves of the stairs and the landscape around them.

A lot of measuring, bending, fitting, welding, and patience goes into making something like this look like it belongs there. 🔨🔥

We’re still in the process, but it’s starting to take shape!

It was so much fun being back at New Prague High School for Career & Tech Day! 🔥🔧

As two New Prague graduates, it was extra special for us to come back and share a little about what we do at Cold Front Fabrication & Welding. We loved talking with students about the welding and fabrication trade, the opportunities in the skilled trades, and what a career in this industry can look like.

It’s pretty cool to come full circle and have the opportunity to share our experience with the next generation of students from our hometown! ❤️

Behind the scenes of running a small business with our two favorite helpers! ❤️📦
Today they got to learn how we make boxes, pack our Etsy orders and get everything ready to ship.

They were doing a pretty great job… until one employee decided she was done and started entertaining herself. 😂😂

Building our business AND raising the next generation. ❤️
