Excited to see this innovative senior design project coming out of Drexel Nanomaterials Institute! 🌞💧

Working with the A.J. Drexel Nanomaterials Institute, students are developing a solar-powered thin film that uses a small amount of MXenes to turn saltwater into clean drinking water. By harnessing sunlight to drive the desalination process, this lightweight and scalable approach could help expand access to safe water in communities around the world.

👏 Great work by the team exploring how advanced nanomaterials can support sustainable solutions.

You advised - and we listened!
Based on participant feedback from our February session, we’ve introduced a revised schedule for the March MXene Course. The content remains the same comprehensive, expert-led deep dive into MXene synthesis, characterization, and applications - now with more breaks between lectures to support focus, discussion, and engagement.

We’re also sharing a few highlights from February participants - thank you for the thoughtful feedback and for helping us continuously improve the course experience!

🗓️Join us for the March session and experience the updated format with the same high-quality scientific content!!!

🧧✨ Celebrating Lunar New Year through science and art!
Our Postdoctoral Researcher Teng Zhang created these stunning calligraphy pieces using MXene ink, each painting the Chinese character (Luck) - a symbol of prosperity, happiness, and good fortune for the year ahead.

Where nanotechnology meets tradition, innovation meets culture. Wishing everyone a year filled with luck, success, and new discoveries!
