We had an awesome time at our CGE Golf Tournament and Summer Picnic this weekend! It was full of laughs, games, and plenty of memories. Meet Mickayla Dobbins, PE! 👋 Since joining CGE in 2021, Mickayla has grown into a strong leader on our Transportation Team, building both her technical expertise and confidence through hands-on experience across every phase of project delivery. As a Project Manager, she plays a key role in keeping projects moving forward and delivering quality results for our clients.

Mickayla's ability to adapt, stay organized, and lead with intention makes her an invaluable part of the team, both in and out of the office. She currently chairs the ASCE Younger Members OKC Branch, an organization that offers networking, professional development, and leadership opportunities to young civil engineers. Experience has reshaped her approach in every area of life: "I'm learning how to juggle it all while being a mom, and that's made me more adaptable, intentional with my time, and given me a whole new perspective both at work and at home."

Meet Josh Fisher, PE! 👋 As Josh approaches his one-year mark at Cowan Group Engineering, his journey reflects a year defined by growth, adaptability, and new opportunities: "I have learned new sectors of engineering in construction, including the municipal sector versus my previous experience being construction of highway transportation."

In his role as a Construction Engineer, this growth has brought a new level of challenge and reward, and it’s been exciting to see him embrace it! We are proud to develop our team and help them achieve their personal and professional goals.

We’re thankful to have Josh on the CGE team and look forward to what’s ahead!

Let's keep each other safe! 👷‍♂️ Every day, work zones help build stronger infrastructure and better communities, but they need drivers to do their part. During National Work Zone Awareness Week, we encourage everyone to slow down, stay alert, and give crews the space they need to work safely every day.

Every cone, sign, and barrier is there to protect both workers and the traveling public. Together, we can help make every work zone a safer place for everyone!
