Our team recently completed above- and underwater ROV inspections at a dam facility in Maryland using our new A-200X Pipe Crawler. The project included inspections of two submerged 18-inch-diameter conduits and one partially submerged 24-inch-diameter conduit utilizing the crawler system. Additional scope included interior confined space inspections at height, as well as smaller-diameter conduit evaluations performed with a push camera system.

Our team was contracted to perform a concrete inspection and remove unsound concrete at a dam in Pennsylvania. The project involved in-water decompression diving operations at depths reaching 122 feet, with limited access for equipment and support operations. Despite challenging site conditions, the work was completed safely and efficiently over the course of 12 days.

While completing underwater bridge inspections in New Mexico, Phillip Osborn, PE, Nick Guzma, PE, Nick Clark, PE, and Chloe Touze, EIT, had the opportunity to work along some of the state’s most significant waterways, including the Rio Grande and Pecos River. The team safely and thoroughly assessed the condition of bridge substructure elements while taking in the scenery across these iconic rivers.
