My interview/discussion with Doug Grog-NEFF Automation at the 2025 KY-MEP Manufacturing EXPO-Bowling Green, KY. We were discussing how 3D Scanning can be automated and standardized for manufacturers, by mounting SCANOLOGY NimbleTrack Scanner to a robot/cobot arm. Greatly simplfying the inspection process and reducing the need for labor in dimensional inspection of manufactured parts. (more to come in this area)

So this is part 2 to the introduction of TWYN-"Check before you inspect." I demonstrate how you may proceede after you come up with a "NOK" (not OK) in TWYN for the welded bracket. I use SCANTECH DIGITAL-NimbleTrack with i-Probe to inspect NOK bracket position. This in turn, validates the findings for TWYN and quantifies the magnitude of the out of position bracket. The magnitude of the out of position bracket could be critical in determining if the part or parts needed to be scrapped or reworked. For the value would determine if it is out of tolerance in accordance with the design drawings. , ,
