This is in response to a false claim from a customer who says we will not honor the warranty on her tractor. Warranty covers factory defects. In this case, the factory wheel bolts were removed to install after market dual wheels and after market bolts that were not approved by McCormick. Service calls and trucking (recovery) are not covered by factory warranty. In this case, two McCormick North America reps and two Amburgey Farm Machinery reps made an agreement with the tractor owners at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville Ky that warranty would cover parts only and the customer would repair the tractor themselves or get it to the dealership for repair at no cost. The tractor is on a farm that is not leased nor owned by the tractor owner, as well as not being easily accessible. Therefore, before anyone will attempt to recover the tractor they require a release of all damages from the land owner that has never been provided. The tractor owner has had the parts in their possession for over a month with no movement. We have all pictures and documents to support this claim.
