I want to address something and make it known as well as I can for everyone, this may seem selfish or ignorant but that’s not it at all. Everyday that goes by the busier I get, the more orders that come in, to be honest I never expected to be this busy, it’s been overwhelming and stressful, I guess it’s a good problem to have, some of you guys understand and get it, but there are some that don’t. I’m doing the best I can. I don’t have a lead time because I’m not selling parts. The reason there is, is because all of you guys want my products, which is great and a good thing. My lead times are estimated (not exact) and are working weeks, not including holiday time off or time I’m out of the shop dealing with life and personal stuff here and there, yeah I’m human and have stuff and a life outside of this, if my lead time is set, and the next day I get 10 orders obviously that changes things. It’s hard to update it everyday depending on order volumes fluctuating. Orders are attended to in order as they come in. No one gets special treatment and no you aren’t paying me an extra 1k$ to skip the line. It’s not fair to the rest of my customers. I’m going through orders as fast as I can. I’m still a small 1 person shop aside from a close buddy who helps me out here and there when he can aside from his full time job. I’m working on finding someone to hire that’s skilled, interested and passionate about the industry/trade not someone who just wants to waste time and wants a pay check and doesn’t take pride in it. Which isn’t the easiest to do. From the new year to now I have had 185 orders placed. As well as Black Friday /christmas orders before that was absolutely insane on order volumes I couldn’t believe it. Overwhelming and ALOT to keep up on and on track being just me. I’m not a huge manufacturer, I’m not a huge company with several employees and a 10k+ sq ft shop. It’s me and about 1200 square feet of garage. If you don’t want to wait for my products , don’t buy my products, the lead time is listed and posted everywhere, there is always going to be a lead time and I don’t see order volumes slowing down, you aren’t going to get your part in a week and texting me everyday isn’t going to speed the process up, if you want low quality that’s on the shelf buy it elsewhere, because it’s not here. I do this stuff because I enjoy it and take pride in my parts and my work and am passionate about it. The fit and finish of my products are 2nd to none. I don’t want to be a massive company with several employees. Call me crazy. That’s not my plan or my goal. My goal is to stay tried, true, simple and to my roots. I started off working in a little corner of my grandpaps garage a couple years ago. Just me building custom parts for people who wanted top quality products. And I’m going to continue to do so and keep putting out the best products I can for the people who want them and want to wait in line. For those that support me.
