Full Throttle BBQ traveled west for once and competed in the Buckeye BBQ Classic in Hillsboro Ohio, we had a phenomenal cook and everything turned out perfect except chicken which was sub par to say the least 🤷🏻‍♂️ but once again me and my little buddy had a great time!!
2nd place pork from Mister Brisket, Inc. (Tied for 1st)
3rd place brisket from Mister Brisket, Inc.
9th place ribs from Headley meats
26th place chicken 🤢
6th overall out of 33 teams
And 10th place in anything but with s’mores shooters

So I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus from the social media side of our BBQ adventures to try and focus on work and competitions. However this weekend was a special one, for Father’s Day me Jaxen and Tex had a guys trip to Buckhannon, WV to compete. We did good but most of all we had fun! And our new comp trailer is working out great!!

We have been pretty quiet about our competition side lately, but it’s for good reason. We have been making big changes and now that things are coming together we would like to share what’s been going on behind the scenes. As most of you know we made the official move to the KCBS Masters division late last year. With that we wanted to make a fresh start and a whole new image that ties in my business, so we have a new team name. We will now officially be Full Throttle BBQ Competition Team, our name on social media will remain Tasker’s BBQ Supply. We also have a new smoker to help with the 4 meat process, and we have built our own cook trailer. There will be more to publish soon but for now I want to introduce you all to our new team name and logo, so look for us out on the circuit!!

Tasker’s BBQ Supply will be teaching a 2 meat Backyard competition class on January 13th. The location is going to be in northern VA kind of near Wi******er. Still firming up location!

I will be teaching Chicken Thighs and St.Louis Style ribs.

We will cover Timelines, strategy, equipment and all will be cooked in drums and pellet smokers!

We couldn’t have asked for a better start into the masters division this weekend!!
We had 5 calls in total!!
2nd place ribs!
8th place brisket
10th place overall
10th place ribs
4th place Halloween ancillary
With 75% of the teams this weekend being top 10 in the country it was a seriously tough battle and we hoped just to hear our name once, we got so much more than that!! We know now for sure we can hang in there with the big dogs with some more practice!!
