Good Afternoon and Happy Tuesday, or as I like to call it "Monday Jr."!! Kristi here!! 👋

I wanted to wish everyone a great start to your week and ask for your help! We are currently looking to hire another employee to help here in the store. I am looking for someone that has the following qualifications:
Happy most of the time!
Excited to show up at work regularly and on time!
Able to be on their feet for long periods of time.
Able to climb stairs and lift up to 50lbs at any given time.
Did I mention, Happy most of the time?
Willing to multi-task and problem solve steadily.
Able to use retail software and online ordering platforms.
Have a lot of fun, while staying constantly busy!
And pretty much anything else that comes up!

If this seems like a job you are qualified for or you know of someone it would be great for, please reach out to me or come by to fill out an application. This position would be for flexible hours Monday through Saturday and would be as early as 7:30 am and as late as 5:30 pm. Starting wage for this part-time position would be negotiable, depending on your experience and availability.

Hello all and Happy Saturday!! Kristi here!! 👋

First... To all of you parents, family, and athletes out here bearing the blazing heat at the State Track Meet in Wichita, CONGRATS and GOOD LUCK!!! I love being from Moundridge, but I also love that we are surrounded by communities that are forces to be reckoned with when it comes to sports!! I've watched some amazing record setting athletes yesterday and today!! Although I'm here to see my son, I love watching all the teams succeed!!

And second... While I had some down time between events, I wanted to let you know about an "Event" at Goering Hardware!!! I was lucky enough to get in on a great Overstock sale through Do It Best on a few items that we sell at the store, and I wanted to pass those great prices on to you!! You can call it a sale or you can call it what I call it..."bribing you to come see me"!! This bribe, I mean Sale starts now and will run through the entire month of June or until we run out of those items!! Come see me and save some money!!

Hello and HAPPY FRIYAY!!!!!! Kristi here!! 👋 I know this will come as a HUGE surprise to you, but I LOVE weekends!!! For those of you that rocked this week, GOOD JOB!! And for those of you that barely survived, I'm proud of you and hope next week is so much better!!! Either way, enjoy your weekend!!

I wanted to remind you one more time that we are running our paint BOGO SALE and it goes through the end of our day on Monday the 18th at 5:30 pm. Hello and Happy FRIYAY!!!!! Kristi here!! 👋 We have made it to the weekend!!

I am super excited about spring!! I'm one of those weird people that loves working in their yard. My boys and I mowed and edged my yard last night and did a few clean up projects. The good news is my yard looks amazing. The bad news is I ended up finding all the things I needed to buy the next day at the store!!

Come see us for your new garden hose to replace your one that may have been run over by the mower. Grab a new hose splitter to attach to your house hydrant because your old one is currently dripping more water than it is sending through the hose. Grab a new broom to replace that one that annoys you each time you sweep out your shed. Pick out some seeds to plant in those empty planters and some vegetables to grow in those 5 gallon buckets you had such high hopes for. And since you are coming to see me anyway, you should grab some mulch to freshen up those flower beds!!

I have high hopes for my motivation and my fingers are crossed for you too!! Have an amazing weekend and I'll see you next time you stop by!!

HELLO!! Kristi here!! 👋 Happy Tuesday and good job for surviving Monday!!! If you are like me, you have tons of projects waiting to be accomplished! If painting is in the list of things to do, you need to come see me!! We are already taking pre-orders for Do It Best Best Look interior and exterior gallons of paint. Hello all and happy Monday!!! Kristi here!!! 👋 I hope you all have had a great start to your week so far!!

I'm not sure if you all noticed, but it is BEAUTIFUL outside!!!! I'm one that would ALWAYS rather be hot than cold, so this is my happy place!!! I have been soaking up every minute working outside that I can.

I'm not one to brag, but I just changed the cover on my dryer vent tonight ALL BY MYSELF!!!! I even had the star bit for my drill that I needed!! My tools may not all match, but the cover is replaced and it is lovely!! It's a good thing I had a local hardware store where I could get the new cover and the drill bits(spoiler alert... It was us... Goering Hardware 😉)!! I'm going to tackle refreshing all my mulch at my house in the next couple of weeks. If only I knew where I could get that too (Still us! We have it at Goering Hardware!!). I want to switch over to the black mulch this year!! I've seen it at other houses and love the look!!
