We recently walked this project for the last time. Valentine Road, a 140 bed hotel converted into 135 units of affordable housing for formerly homeless individuals owned by Ventura Housing and built by McCarthy Companies. So gratifying to see it occupied and providing new lives for its residents.

The second of two affordable housing projects completing construction and accepting residents this year so far. This one is the first phase of a 2 phase project for People's Self-Help Housing and includes 90 units for families. A six year journey finally being put to its intended use.

The next phase will be 60 units for families and farmworkers.

When we originally designed the HighStreet Depot project in Moorpark, we envisioned a central public space where residents and visitors could come together as a community. As of this weekend's Country Days celebration, that vision is becoming a reality.

We recently completed a tiny home community for MESA in Ojai. They provide shelter and services for youth aged out of the foster care system (TAY). Honored to support this great organization, and looking forward to expanding their reach in the future.
