Strang Spreads Holiday Cheer! ✨🎄
We were thrilled to participate in Helping Hands for the first time! Partnering with J+J Flooring, our designers decorated a tree designed with toys and gift cards to brighten the holidays for children and families in a pediatric hospital.

Our creative team came up with the theme, and here’s the finished result! We’re excited to continue this tradition next year. A big thank you to our designers for making it possible!

A Hand Up, Not a Handout – Celebrating Community Impact with United Way of Dane County This week, more than 500 community leaders, partners, and supporters gathered at Monona Terrace to celebrate the incredible impact of the 2024 United Way Community Fundraising Campaign—which raised $17.3 million to support local nonprofits and strengthen family well-being across Dane County.

As this year’s campaign chair, Larry Barton, led the celebration, sharing a personal story about how his grandmother’s gift of a guitar wasn’t just a handout—it was a hand-up that helped shape his future. (Note his first band, Lighting Ridge!) It is a fitting tribute, as we recognized the generosity of 13,000+ individuals and nearly 500 local businesses who gave back to lift others up.

With the Plan for Community Well-Being, United Way is making its first round of investments in nonprofits focused on youth opportunity, financial security, and a healthier community. When we come together, we don’t just meet needs—we create opportunities.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible! 💙
