Fueling New Opportunities for the Coushatta Tribe! ⛽

Congratulations to the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana on the grand opening of their new Feather Fuel Travel Plaza in Iowa, Louisiana!

Located just off Interstate 10, the new travel plaza features a convenience store, fueling stations for passenger vehicles, RVs and semi-trucks, and expanded amenities for travelers. This new development represents another investment in the Tribe's economic growth, creating jobs and new opportunities for the surrounding community.

Qk4 - Engineering & Planning is proud to have served as the lead site designer and engineer for this project, providing site master planning, site layout, grading and drainage design, utility coordination, and off-site roadway improvements.

Working alongside Worthgroup Architects & Designers, the project's lead architectural designer, our Native American Services team helped bring the Tribe's vision to life.

Congratulations to the Coushatta Tribe and everyone involved in making this project a reality! We're proud to have been part of it.

Jackson is a little greener 🌳

More than 50 volunteers from 12 organizations came together during Kentucky Tree Week to plant 120 trees in the Frog Pond area — turning former flood buyout properties into greener community spaces.

🎲 Benny the Bearded Troll is headed to the Monopoly board!

We’re excited to be one of the organizations helping bring Surveying Monopoly to life with Getkidsintosurvey - and Qk4’s own Benny the Bearded Troll is part of the game.

Created to introduce kids and families to the world of surveying, the game highlights the people, technology and possibilities behind the profession in a completely different way.

For Qk4, supporting a project like this fits right in with our efforts to introduce the next generation to careers in surveying and civil engineering.

We’re pretty excited to see Benny make his Monopoly debut - and even more excited to get the finished game in our hands. 🎩🎲
