Yesterday, members of our Administrative and Planning/Landscape Architecture teams attended the Parklands of Floyds Fork Luncheon as a proud table sponsor.
This is an event we look forward to every year, and we’re honored to support a program dedicated to inclusion, community, and getting kids outdoors to experience and enjoy our parks and natural spaces.

Last week, a few members of the Mindel Scott team had the opportunity to attend the Kentucky Chapter of the APWA golf scramble at Weissinger Hills Golf Course.

We always appreciate the chance to connect with others in the public works and engineering community while enjoying a great day on the course. Thanks to the organizers for hosting such a great event!

We’re proud to celebrate the ribbon cutting
of the new outdoor classroom at Greathouse
Elementary School! ✂️🌿📚

Mindel Scott is honored to have been a part of this
meaningful project, helping create a space where
students can learn, explore, and connect outdoors. The
new outdoor classroom features a reading area, a
walking path, a shaded circular bench around an
existing tree, decorative privacy screens, beautiful
landscaping, picnic tables for collaboration and outdoor
lessons, and even a musical play area designed to
encourage creativity and engagement.

Projects like this are made possible through strong
community partnerships, and we’re grateful to work
alongside Pace Contracting, Louisville MSD Community
Benefits Program, and Jefferson County Public Schools who helped bring this
vision to life for Greathouse Elementary students and
staff.

Congratulations to Greathouse Shryock Elementary on this exciting
addition to your campus!

Last Friday, members of the Mindel Scott team attended the NSPE-KY Louisville Chapter Annual Engineer’s Banquet at Copper & Kings.
The event provided a great opportunity to connect with industry peers, celebrate the engineering profession, and support the continued growth of the engineering community throughout Kentucky.
Congratulations to all of the evening’s award recipients. We enjoyed celebrating the incredible work and accomplishments happening across our industry!

Our team had a great time attending MSD Field Day 2026 yesterday at Mellwood Art Center!

Employees from our engineering, planning, and landscape architecture departments joined fellow professionals from across the construction and engineering industries for a day of presentations, vendor sessions, networking, and educational discussions focused on infrastructure, stormwater management, and community improvement.

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to continue learning, collaborating, and connecting with others who are dedicated to protecting and improving our communities.
