Jeff Snyder was a pillar of the music community and shaped so many of us into the people we are today, whether continuing to work in the music industry or not. We love you Jeff, you are a part of us and will be greatly missed!
We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Jeff Snyder, Professor Emeritus of Music at Lebanon Valley College.
During his 26 years at LVC, Professor Snyder served the Music Department in numerous capacities, including as Director of the Music Business Program, founder and leader of the Vale Music Group, and Department Chair during the challenging years of the pandemic.
Jeff influenced countless music students throughout his tenure at LVC, and his dedication to music business continued well into retirement through podcasts, YouTube videos, and his involvement with professional music business organizations. His impact on our students, alumni, colleagues, and the music industry will be felt for years to come.
Memorial arrangements will be shared as they become available. In the meantime, we invite you to share a fond memory of Professor Snyder and the ways he influenced your personal or professional journey.
Cheers to Professor Jeff Snyder. You will be missed!
