As Flintlock Friday rolls around again.. We have a Va. stocked in curly Ash. This rifle sports a 48” barrel, double thimbles and carving that I would probably never attempt again on a curly ash stock 😂🤪🤪🤪.. but it was a fun build.

While there is never a shortage of projects around here.. and we have to do what makes sense from a business standpoint. Our current focus is on high quality Flintlocks. However when time permits and we get asked to make runs of certain types of knives (some 18th century style) and some not. Well, here is one of the some not (LOL). We were asked if we can make a run of these and what the cost would be. So far we have most of the modeling done along with the tolerance /stack ups and now on to the costing. All that being said I thought I would share a short video of the project.

For this flintlock Friday we have another Lehigh Rifle. I finished this one a little over 3 years ago.
