We were proud to see Ian Hughes, Chief Revenue Officer at GLI, join industry leaders at the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) Conference in Lima, Peru, for a timely discussion on the practical applications of AI in regulation.

As part of the panel session, "Artificial Intelligence: Practical Tools, Real Safeguards, and Responsible Use", Ian shared insights on how AI can support regulatory operations through use cases such as document review, anomaly detection, triage, translation, intelligence support, and governance. The conversation focused on realistic, regulator-led implementations that deliver operational value while emphasizing appropriate safeguards and responsible adoption.

Moderated by Charmaine Hogan of Playtech, the panel also featured Mark Pace of the Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) and Rasmus Kjaergaard, CEO of Mindway.ai, bringing together diverse perspectives on the future of AI in gaming regulation.

While in Lima, Ian also had the opportunity to connect with several respected industry leaders, including Dr. Ida Lopez, President of ALEA. Asociación de Loterías Estatales de Argentina (Argentine State Lotteries Association); Brian Krolicki, President-elect of IAGR and Commissioner of the Gaming Commission; and Yuri Guerra Padilla, General Director of Casino Games and Slot Machines at Mincetur Perú.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we stand with everyone affected by breast cancer. Together, we can raise awareness, support patients and their families, and help fund the research and resources that make a difference.

It's Pink Week, and our GLI teams around the world are coming together to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

From New Jersey, Las Vegas, Colorado, and South Africa, to Sydney and Adelaide, our team members are wearing pink to raise awareness and stand with everyone affected by breast cancer. In Colorado, our team also came together for a 5K Pink Fun Run, while our Las Vegas office is keeping the tradition going with our annual Pink Week Bake Sale today, with all proceeds benefiting breast cancer research! In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the GLI Africa office hosted a “Be Colourfully Kind” Shavathon event on the 14th of October 2026, where employees shaved or sprayed their hair in support of those affected by cancer.
