Mathcounts 2026 was a complete success!! So happy for our local middle schoolers who came out and showed OUT!

The top three teams and individual students get to move on to State Competition in March so congratulations to them!

🎉 Huge congratulations to all the middle school students who participated in today’s math competition! 🏆 Your hard work, dedication, and problem-solving skills truly shined through!

A special round of applause to the winners for their exceptional achievements! 🌟 The top THREE individual competitors received a McNeese Scholarship of the amounts $1000, $750, $500.
The top THREE teams and top Four individuals will be advancing to the State Competition.

We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to all our volunteers and sponsors that made this event happen today! McNeese Department of Engineering & Computer Science, McNeese State University, Meyer & Associates, Lake Charles Mathcounts, and a few anonymous donors.
