Itโs our birthday! So what is Peridian working on going into the next 10 years? Weโre currently a part of the team working on the new Lake Charles Public Works Facility, designed by Architect David Brossett. Phase One, which is currently under construction, includes site work and the construction of a new Public Works Administration Office with parking lots on the north and south sides of the facility. Phase Two will include the relocation of the remaining City Public Works services. Peridian is providing civil and structural engineering services on this project, including structural calculations, foundation design, civil and structural specifications, roadway and parking design, underground drainage, lateral reroute, and stormwater retention.
Another project that we are excited to be a part of right now is the new Cougar Stadium. The upgrades to the stadium include new turf, a new track, updates to the bathrooms, concessions, ticket booths, new bleachers and a new lighting system. Working with Vincent, Shows, Gautreaux Architects, Peridian is providing engineering and design for the press box support structure and framing, wall framing and foundations, civil paving and drainage, and associated specifications.
