The Burgess Foundation and Scrap Management Industries (SMI) are proud to partner with the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence to educate the next generation on recycling for tomorrow’s future. ♻️

Zac Cazzell, General Manager of SMI Lawrence, and Matt McCarthy, Director of Procurement, spoke with students at the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence – Center for Great Futures about how recycling metals can positively impact their neighborhoods and communities.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to inspire future generations to reduce landfills, lower greenhouse gases, and recycle for a better future.

SMI Lawrence is also proud to recognize Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence as our Partner of the Month. If you recycle metals at our Lawrence location and would like to donate your proceeds to BGCLK, please let the scale attendant know upon arrival.
