🚛 Another major milestone for our new laser setup.

The automation components for our new Bystronic Inc. 20kW ByCut 4020 arrived at our shop, and we're one step closer to bringing the entire system online.

A big thank you to Thompson Machinery Moving for safely delivering and positioning the equipment in our facility. Their team did an outstanding job.

The laser itself was a significant investment in expanding our capabilities. Now, with automation being added to the equation, we're preparing for increased capacity, improved material handling, greater efficiency, and the ability to keep more work flowing through the shop.

We're excited to see everything come together and can't wait to show what's next as installation continues.

Stay tuned. The future of fabrication at Bay Metal Works is taking shape.

Airports can't afford downtime when winter hits.

Our team is currently fabricating parts for a snowblower and sweeper designed for airstrip use, equipment built to keep runways clear and operations running.

Proud to be part of the supply chain that keeps critical infrastructure moving, even when the forecast doesn't cooperate.

A 40 x 16 ft steel structure. Built at our shop in Green Bay. Hauled up HWY 57 in one piece. Now anchored on the Great Lakes. 🚤

We teamed up with Roen Salvage to build the spud house for their brand-new ABS barge (DK 33).

From our shop floor to the water, this structure now serves as the command and control center for a 230-ton crane operation, housing the controls for three 60-foot steel spuds that anchor the barge during lifts and dredging across the Great Lakes. 🏗️

A $5 million investment in the future of Great Lakes marine construction. Proud to have played a part in it!
