Our big mills can easily handle longer parts such as these long 10' aluminum plates that are milled out for a custom grooved conveyor belt. These parts later got fully assembled into the specialized conveyor that we assembled and tested at HWMI. www.huffmanwelding.com

Dual walled oven conveyor section. We reverse engineered this oven section which is dual walled with water cooling between the jackets. We fabricated several carbon sections for one oven and then replaced another entire oven conveyor in stainless steel for them. www.huffmanwleding.com

Today we lost a Founder, Husband, Father, and Grandfather. The man that took the risk with his wife to start this wonderful company. The one who built the phenomenal team we have today and created the culture that influences every decision we make. His standards of quality and doing what you say lives on through every team member. His hard work, persistence and dedication was passed onto our team and will lead us into the future. We are forever grateful for all he did for this company. He truly was an entrepreneur that believed that our team was an extension of our family.
He worked hard but also played hard. He never wanted anyone on our team that didn't enjoy what they did. He believed with all his heart that you needed to find something you were passionate about and that you must enjoy what you do. He worked hard but he loved to joke and have fun. Some of his best nights were our company events and spending time with our team and his beloved bride Rosie. They made quite the team.
We sure will miss him. Rest in peace.

We found our Valentine for this year. Its our new Bend-Tech Dragon tube cutter. The guys have been trained and we are off and running with this beauty. 😍 This machine takes care of all the smaller items that are too small for our structural steel processor. It also helps us with our productivity on handrail and other tube components where we can quickly layout bend deductions, cut, cope, scribe and more in one setup of material. www.huffmanwelding.com

2026 is off to a good start with our quality inspector Craig completing training and measuring parts. We made several improvements to our quality tooling this year including a new Profilometer for measuring material roughness, a complete new set of bore gauges and a setter, and the new Keyence XM5000 portable CMM! www.huffmanwelding.com

Our Python X is going on year 5 and we continue to grow our capabilities and tonnage throughput. Our best year was over 650 tons of structural steel. That's over 1,300,000lbs of steel processed on the machine and welded up by our skilled fabricators. Hopefully we can top that in 2026! 2025 included many jobs for regional jobs and over 250 tons shipped to a project in New Orleans and another 100+ tons to other nationwide jobsites for repeat customers.
