Not all wastewater onboard is the same, and knowing the difference matters for compliance. 💧

Black water comes from toilets and medical facilities, wastewater that requires treatment before discharge under MARPOL. Grey water comes from sinks, showers, and laundry, generally less regulated but still subject to discharge rules depending on location.

We're in the middle of hurricane season, and it's a good time to make sure your onboard environmental systems are storm-ready. ⛈️

A few things worth checking:

🛠️ Secure and inspect wastewater and black water system connections before a storm approaches
