Yes — our thru-hull underwater lights are engineered for easy inboard servicing, allowing routine maintenance to be carried out from inside the vessel without the need for a haul-out.

A haul-out is only required if the lens needs to be replaced.

For reliable long-term performance, Sea Vision recommends inspecting for damage and cleaning the internal components every six months.

In this video, Brittney Walters, our USA Sales Associate, explains how Sea Vision’s DC-powered LED retrofit kits are designed to replace previous-generation HID lights — without replacing the existing thru-hull components.

Instead of an HID ballast, the LED retrofit uses an external driver, making the upgrade simple and efficient.

Each retrofit kit includes:

✔ LED insert
✔ External driver
✔ Cable

The process is straightforward: remove the HID insert, replace with the LED insert, secure it with the projector cap, and your retrofit is complete.

Brittney, our USA Sales Associate, attended the Triton event on August 12th at Nautical Ventures off Anglers Ave, where she had the opportunity to catch up with existing Sea Vision clients and make some exciting new industry connections.
