đź’™ Giving Back to Our Local Schools đź’™

Loomis Bros. Equipment Company was proud to recently donate a washer and dryer to Bowles Elementary School to help support the everyday needs of their students and staff.

The new laundry equipment will serve several purposes at the school, including giving staff the ability to quickly wash clothing when a student has a spill, accident, or simply needs a fresh change of clothes during the school day.

Sometimes something as simple as clean, dry clothes can help a student get comfortable, feel confident, and get right back to learning.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support Bowles Elementary and the dedicated teachers and staff who take care of our local kids every day.

We’re proud to have recently completed the installation of a new commercial washer and dryer at the brand-new Shelby County Law Enforcement Center in Shelbyville, Missouri!

The county’s previous facility had reached the end of its useful life, making this new law enforcement center an important investment in a safer, more modern facility for the community and those who serve it.

Our team was pleased to be a small part of the project by providing and installing commercial laundry equipment built to handle the demands of a law enforcement facility.

Our team recently installed a brand-new commercial dryer at Sunrise Nursing Home in Raymore, Missouri, helping ensure their laundry operation continues to run efficiently and reliably.

In a skilled nursing facility, dependable laundry equipment is about so much more than clean linens. It helps provide residents with fresh bedding, towels, and clothing every day while supporting the incredible caregivers who work tirelessly behind the scenes.

We’re proud to have partnered on the laundry equipment installation at the new Drury Plaza Hotel in Birmingham, Alabama. This beautiful new property stands on the site of a previous Drury hotel that served guests for nearly 40 years before being demolished to make way for a larger, modern facility designed for the future.

Projects like this are especially meaningful because they represent both a commitment to growth and an investment in the guest experience. Behind every successful hotel operation is a reliable laundry system working around the clock, and we’re honored that Drury Hotels trusted our team to help equip this impressive new property.

Installing laundry equipment in a modern building is one thing… installing it in a 104-year-old historic landmark is another challenge entirely.

Our team at Loomis Brothers Equipment Co. recently completed the installation of (2) brand new commercial dryers at the historic Broadview Hotel in Wichita, Kansas — now known as the Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview Wichita.

Because of the age and layout of the building, this was anything but a standard install. The old dryers had to be carefully raised through a man hole opening in the floor and the new dryers lowered and maneuvered into place with precision planning and teamwork. Projects like this take experience, patience, and a crew willing to tackle complex challenges head-on.

We’re proud to help preserve and support historic properties like this while bringing them modern, reliable laundry solutions that will serve guests for years to come.

At Edgewater Woods Senior Living Community, replacing a commercial washer wasn’t as simple as rolling equipment through a doorway.

Our team had to crane the old washer out through an opening and carefully crane the new washer back in and into the laundry room — all while working safely and efficiently around an active senior living community.

Projects like this are a great reminder that no two installations are the same, and sometimes it takes creative planning, teamwork, and experience to get the job done right.
