Installing laundry equipment in a modern building is one thing… installing it in a 104-year-old historic landmark is another challenge entirely.

Our team at Loomis Brothers Equipment Co. recently completed the installation of (2) brand new commercial dryers at the historic Broadview Hotel in Wichita, Kansas — now known as the Drury Plaza Hotel Broadview Wichita.

Because of the age and layout of the building, this was anything but a standard install. The old dryers had to be carefully raised through a man hole opening in the floor and the new dryers lowered and maneuvered into place with precision planning and teamwork. Projects like this take experience, patience, and a crew willing to tackle complex challenges head-on.

We’re proud to help preserve and support historic properties like this while bringing them modern, reliable laundry solutions that will serve guests for years to come.

At Edgewater Woods Senior Living Community, replacing a commercial washer wasn’t as simple as rolling equipment through a doorway.

Our team had to crane the old washer out through an opening and carefully crane the new washer back in and into the laundry room — all while working safely and efficiently around an active senior living community.

Projects like this are a great reminder that no two installations are the same, and sometimes it takes creative planning, teamwork, and experience to get the job done right.
