Jim Mohorovich celebrated 42 years with Schmidbauer Building Supply on 8/24. That's right folks. FORTY-TWO dedicated years. Jim has a long track record for showing up and getting the work done. EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Jimmy is a wealth of knowledge and often shares his wisdom with those who are receptive to it, making him an asset to those who are eager to learn. He also gives solid advice when its appropriate.
Jimmy is a "do it right or don't do it at all" kind of guy. He's black and white, old school, set in his ways, tells it like it is, and will call you out if he sees the need to. And chances are, when and if he does, he wants to help teach you something, wants you to improve and be better, he spots a safety concern, or he just knows a better way to handle a situation. Jimmy is a rugged, resilient, resourceful, seasoned, versatile man. He also has the best of intentions, has a huge heart, is loyal, loving, gentle and takes care of his people.
Jimmy is a family man and an avid outdoorsmen. Hunting and fishing are his passions and he is often heard telling stories of both. He enjoys hunting with his wife of 39 years Liz, or slaying fish with his son, and hanging with his brothers. He also shares stories about his newest granddaughter and daughter in law that brings a new level of joy to him.
When Jimmy isn't at work he loves a weekend at the lake, on the water, in the woods, or around a camp fire. Jimmy appreciates the little things and he doesn't take anything for granted.
Our Schmidbauer work family describes Jim as..... always helpful, a go getter, organized, well thought out, dependable, strategic, a gentle giant, productive, witty, a jokester, and he also brings a steady order to our workplace.
Jimmy is grateful for his years at Schmidbauer, the friendships he has made, and how he has been able to provide for his family. He says retirement is coming up and he looks forward to more time with his family doing what he loves.
