We want to update you on the current conditions of the marinas from the storms that occurred Thursday morning. Presque Isle state park is closed, however if you have your sticker to present to the Rangers they’ll let you check on your boat. Currently there is no electricity at the park.

Erie Yacht club is currently out of electricity with no ETA on repairs, although they appear to be extensive.

Perry’s Landings C dock broke loose and drifted to the east wall. Perry’s Landing E dock has damage to it as well.

The public marinas all appear to have intermittent electricity issues.

We have no information on Commodore Perry or Presque isle yacht club status’ but will update when available.

Due to the amount of rain, extremely high winds and hail I encourage everyone to check on their boats. Your batteries will only support your ships systems for a period of time, depending on use of your 12 volt systems which could include your refrigerators and most importantly your bilge pumps.

We would also recommend turning your shore power off until the power is restored, as in many cases may cause power surges when repairing the electricity which could damage battery chargers, dual voltage refrigerators and a/c units.
