ISM recently held a Chili Cookoff competition where employees cooked, tasted, and generously donated, all for a great cause! $1500 was raised for an employee nominated charity - Blood Cancer United

Inspiring the Next Generation of Makers and Creators🔧✨👨‍🏭

Earlier this week we welcomed students from Erie High School’s welding class for a behind-the-scenes tour of our facility!

It was great to see their curiosity and enthusiasm as they learned about the real-world applications of the skills they’re developing in the classroom. These students represent the future of manufacturing, and we’re thrilled to play a small part in sparking their interest in skilled trades and local career opportunities.

Today, ISM proudly launched Fabri-Kate into the Bayfront Maritime Center’s 13th Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta!

What made this boat special wasn’t just the design—it was the people behind it. Employees from across departments brought their talents, creativity, and determination and all pulled together. Our Captain MC kept the crew rowing in the same direction and our expert Engineer Bob ensured we sailed away safely. The result? A true masterpiece on the water.

This event was more than building a boat. It was about building teams. About setting a goal, collaborating, and trusting each other’s strengths. From building and painting to coordinating, rowing, and cheering—every role mattered. Because without every element working together… we sink.
