I’ve put a lot of late nights, time, and effort into building this new website. Along the way, I’ve learned more about website design, rewritten code, fixed more bugs than I can count, and built something I’ve wanted to do for a long time.
My vision for My Part Depot goes far beyond just another website for our salvage yard. Eventually, I want it to offer new, used, and aftermarket auto parts and accessories, and grow into a multi-vendor marketplace where other sellers can offer their parts too.
There’s still plenty of work to do and bugs to work out, but the long-term goal is to build a real alternative to the big online marketplaces — one focused specifically on automotive parts.
