Had a great morning sharing our Automation & Controls passion with the future Williams Bay School District graduates. We gave the students an overview of Panel Building, Design, PLC programming, HMI/SCADA graphics and the overall development of Water/Wastewater projects. Always a pleasure to showcase this industry!

An early Christmas present for our friends at MMSD!

1 of 4 MCC sections were successfully powered up and controls transferred over from their temporary buckets! I/O checks and startups were completed and most importantly As-Built record drawings! Don’t want a repeat of having to investigate and document these 1980’s MCC buckets that have been upgraded and changed over the years…

How do you keep an Influent Building functional while replacing a critical MCC!?

Lot and lots of planning is the answer…the first of 35 ’s to be replaced at MMSD Jones Island with our partners Next Electric!

For this one we’re lucky that existing spare buckets can be modified to accommodate critical loads during this quick switchover

Two Allan ICS engineers collaborating on Phase one for Greater Peoria Sanitary District’s (GPSD) "Riverfront Conveyance Improvements" project involving upgrades to the area's sewer system to enhance capacity and function during wet weather events. Phase one includes three new panels, replacing two obsolete SLC racks with new 5069 compactlogix PLC’s and a few Ignition Edge HMI’s. All connected and integrated back to their central wastewater plant via cellular routers. These will soon be ready for witnessed customer testing and final installation! Phase Two is scheduled to begin shortly after…
