Signature brand by Heritage Metalworks of authentic hand forged and cast brass architectural hardware

Even the smallest components require thoughtful design.

This custom-forged hook was shaped by the heat of the forge and the strike of the hammer, crafted to support an antique fixture. Though small, it plays an essential role in the integrity of the finished piece.

At HMW, no detail is too small for the craft.

Small details. Lasting character.

Custom brass rattail levers and backplates, carefully recreated from the original steel hardware. Made for a marine environment, each piece carries forward the original shapes and surface details while accommodating the existing lock cylinders.

Heat, steel, and a practiced hand.

These custom hinges are heated until they glow orange, then brushed with wax. Smoke rises as the wax meets the hot metal, leaving each piece with a rich, dark finish.

Forged by hand. Finished by hand. Made one piece at a time.
