Congratulations to Jackson Radford and the Alley's End project team on earning the Staff Zone Safety Award!
Jackson is part of the team building Alley's End in downtown Oklahoma City, one of the most significant projects happening in the city right now. At 214 multifamily units and roughly 209,000 square feet, it will be the largest affordable housing development in downtown OKC's history. Work at that scale demands people who take safety seriously every single day.

Willowbrook sponsored and attended LSI of Chickasha's 3rd Annual Golf Tournament, and it was worth every swing!
Life Skills Institute is the long-term program behind Resurrection House in Chickasha. The Resurrection House provides emergency shelter and short-term stays for those experiencing homelessness, and LSI takes it a step further. Residents in the LSI program are required to hold a job, build a budget, and save toward a down payment on a home, all while receiving financial classes, case management, and support rooted in faith. The goal is not just a roof for the night. It is a path to lasting independence.
Thank you to LSI and Resurrection House for hosting a great tournament and for the work you do every day.

Willowbrook broke ground Tuesday on this 262-unit boutique housing development by Rose Rock Development Partners, designed by Tradesman architectural studios located on the Oklahoma City Boulevard directly across from the Paycom Center and adjacent to the Omni Hotel.
This is a public-private partnership funded in part through Oklahoma City's voter-approved housing fund, bringing more affordable housing options to the heart of downtown OKC. Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt was on hand to mark the occasion.
We look forward to delivering another downtown project and do our part to build OKC!

Among signers of the Chickasha Public Schools Lincoln School steel beam that was raised into the structure of Lincoln’s new gymnasium and safe room is Teresa Russell of Chickasha. Besides her own name, she signed the names of Hayden family ancestors. As she explains it, the land that Lincoln School sits upon was donated to the city by the Hayden Family in the 1880s, just after Chickasha’s founding in 1892. Separate schools for black children were opened all across Oklahoma, and Chickasha’s Lincoln School reportedly was opened in 1895 on Hayden family land. Many hundreds of other signatures were added by alumni, community members, Lincoln school children and staff at the beam-signing event. Construction continues on the Lincoln project by Willowbrook. The 7,117 square-foot gym and storm shelter addition was designed by LDG Architects.

We’re celebrating with Midwest City the groundbreaking of Plaza 62 – a creative park designed to enhance the SSM Health Midwest Hospital neighborhood and extend community walking paths. On June 3, we joined other community stakeholders to turn some dirt and put the project into drive! Located at the corner of Parkland and National, this project was designed by TSW Planners and will be built by your friends at Willowbrook Construction.

Willowbrook welcomes six interns to the team this summer — four new faces and two who are back for another season.

Diego Villegas, an Oklahoma State University student, is joining us on the Mid-Del Public Schools projects. Will Hoehner, also from OSU, will be working on the Stillwater Public Schools, New High School project. Oaklee Mitchell comes to Willowbrook after serving in the Marines and will be working on the Mid-Del Public Schools projects. Sam Stoner, a University of Oklahoma student, is working on the Pediatric Behavioral Health Center at Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health.

Returning this summer are Ayden Ebey, back on the Stillwater Public Schools, New High School project, and Matt Dubiel, returning to the Pediatric Behavioral Health Center at Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health.

The construction industry runs on people who choose it — and these six are making that choice at the start of their careers. That matters for the future of this industry, and we don't take it lightly. Please help us welcome them to Willowbrook.
