Gave the 300 ton shop press a little workout this morning pressing this 15.5” diameter bearing race out and a new one back in. It took 167 tons to get the old one out. Our plate we made to sit over the race and spread out the load took a beating. The 1/2” thick plate started to rip just as the old race started to move. Big toys = big fun!

Anyone in need of a new cellar door / basement door enclosure? It’s built to last unlike the ones you get from the big box stores. It’s designed to bolt in as a replacement for an existing enclosure. However this one will not work on a drop in place concrete cellar. We build those replacements as well. Let me know if you have any questions.

Another fire truck headed to the Grady County Fire Department and is going to be assigned to the Bailey station here in Oklahoma. This truck is very similar to the the Friend Station Truck. The Bailey Station had some feature changes to better suit their area. This tank has a 2750 Gallon lined tank, it will have a remote control monitor on the brush guard with the capability of putting 125 gallons per minute of water on the fire! Our work on this truck is finished and we will be handing this monster truck off to them soon!

One of our recent builds. This fire truck was built for the Grady County Fire Department in Oklahoma, and it is headed to the Friend station. This truck has a lined tank to extend the life of of the tank by decades. The tank holds 3000 gallons of water, it has the capability of all wheel drive, with an automatic transmission, on-board tire pressure control system, (so the tires can be inflated / deflated on the fly for changing ground conditions) and run flat tires. On the front bush guard there is a remote control monitor (water cannon) which allows the driver to put water on the fire from the cab at a rate of up to 125 gallons per minute! On the rear there is compartment built in to hold a 100' of so this truck can reach out and suppress fire even in places the truck cant get into. On the drivers side there will be a 50' 1.5" lay flat hose also. There is more features to this awesome truck we will show later once it gets to the station and we get to show the firemen all the extras!
