Ready, Set, Pickleball!

Six new courts are now open at the South Whidbey Sports Complex. The project included full site development with clearing, grading, paving, sport court surfacing, fencing, and landscape restoration bringing a new recreational space to life.

Created with the community in mind, these courts expand access to outdoor play and provide a welcoming place to connect. A great example of Building Beyond the Building where the impact goes beyond the project.

A Suite Transformation

We recently completed a VIP suite upgrade at Angel of the Winds Arena, delivering a refined space designed to elevate the guest experience within a tight construction window between event schedules.

VIP Suite #21 received a full interior refresh featuring updated lighting, custom casework, stone countertops, and natural wood finishes that bring a warm Pacific Northwest aesthetic to the space. The result is a comfortable, polished environment designed to enhance every event experience while balancing quality, budget, and schedule.

Paella Party! A Recipe for Connection

At TRICO, Building Beyond the Building means more than the projects we complete. It means investing in our people, celebrating wins together, and creating opportunities that help strengthen our teams beyond the jobsite and office.

Our Paella Party at Maplehurst Farm gave teammates and families a chance to gather, connect, and enjoy an afternoon centered on good food, conversation, laughter, lawn games, and community. And a dip in the dunk tank!

Building strong teams takes more than the work we do each day. It grows through shared experiences, support for one another, and moments that remind us of the people behind the projects.

As we close out 2026 Construction Safety Week, we want to take a moment to reflect on the commitment, care, and accountability shown by our team every day. Throughout the week, we highlighted individuals across TRICO who help strengthen our safety culture in different ways—through leadership, planning ahead, supporting crews, staying organized, speaking up, training first, and encouraging others to recognize and respond to hazards before they become incidents.

Each story reminded us that safety is not one person’s responsibility, one department’s focus, or one week of recognition. It is something we carry with us every day, on every jobsite, in every task, and in every decision. Whether in the field or in the office, our team plays an important role in respecting the STCKY (Stuff That Can Kill You) activities and making sure safety remains our number one priority.

Jessica helps keep project teams organized, communicates clearly, and stays on top of the details that help work move safely and efficiently. She jumped right in by joining the Safety Committee after she was hired and continues to look for ways to learn, contribute, and strengthen her safety mindset. Her willingness to step up and support our safety efforts is a great example of what it means to be all-in.
