What We Build Matters

While construction projects are typically measured in concrete, steel, and square footage, their greatest impact is often measured in people. The YMCA Oasis Youth Shelter is a place where young people can find stability, encouragement, and the resources they need to build brighter futures.

A collaborative effort with the Skagit Valley Family YMCA, local organizations and the Skagit community, the shelter provides a safe environment and access to essential resources, helping create brighter possibilities for local youth.

Spaces like this are an important investment in the well-being of our community and the future of the young people who call it home. For us, this project represents Building Beyond the Building, where the impact reaches far beyond the walls and into the future of the Skagit Valley.

Built in 1906 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the San Juan County Courthouse is getting a seismic upgrade, and the TRICO team is proud to lead the work. We're reinforcing the structure to improve its performance while preserving the historic character that makes this building a community landmark, carefully balancing restoration and construction at every step.

Lincoln’s Next Act

For generations, the Lincoln Theatre, Mount Vernon WA has been a place where the Skagit Valley gathers to connect, celebrate, learn, and be entertained and inspired!

Completed improvements strengthen that legacy by making the theatre more accessible, comfortable, and prepared for the future, while preserving its character and history. Behind the scenes, a new ADA lift opens backstage to performers and crew of all abilities, and the Foundation office received a refresh that now incorporates the structural supports for the theatre's new HVAC system, helping create a more comfortable experience throughout the historic venue.

Most importantly, these investments help ensure the Lincoln remains a place where artists thrive, young people discover their voice, and neighbors gather for generations to come.
